Idle Words

I became obsessed with this blog many years ago after reading the essay “Gluten Free Antarctica” on the now defunct essay repository Longform.org (RIP to when the internet was good!) I think the author, Maciej Ceglowski, is mainly a programmer and tech guy these days, but his writing about travel (especially Antarctica, Argentina, and China) is so charming, sharp, and entertaining.
